Job summary

UNISON Group is seeking an IT Recruiter to source, screen and place technology professionals for our clients in Singapore and the region. You will collaborate with hiring managers and candidates from diverse backgrounds to deliver a fast, fair, and high-quality hiring experience.

You will understand client needs, source candidates through portals and networks, and manage the full recruitment cycle from shortlisting to onboarding, ensuring compliance with local laws and PDPA.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT or technical recruitment (agency or in-house).
• Strong communication skills in English and other languages relevant to the client base.
• Strong sourcing skills including Boolean search and use of LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals and ATS tools.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions, prioritise and meet targets.
• Diploma or degree in any discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Screen and interview candidates by phone, video and in person, assessing technical skills and fit.

• Ensure compliance with Singapore employment law and PDPA.

Job description

We are looking for an IT Recruiter to source, screen and place technology professionals for our clients in Singapore and the region. You will work closely with hiring managers and candidates, from diverse language and cultural backgrounds, to deliver a fast, fair and high-quality hiring experience.

• Understand client hiring needs and translate them into clear job requirements, job advertisements and search strategies.
• Source candidates for IT roles (e.g., software engineering, data, cloud, cybersecurity, SAP, infrastructure) through job portals, professional networks, social media, referrals and Boolean search.
• Screen and interview candidates by phone, video and in person, assessing technical skills, experience and role fit.
• Communicate clearly with candidates and client stakeholders in the languages needed to do the job, including calls, messages and interview coordination.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle: shortlisting, interview scheduling, feedback, offer negotiation, reference checks and onboarding follow-up.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS/CRM and report on pipeline, turnaround time and placements.
• Build and maintain a talent pool and long-term relationships with candidates and clients.
• Ensure all job postings and hiring practices comply with Singapore employment legislation and the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices, and with the Fair Consideration Framework where applicable.
• Protect candidate and client data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

• Experience in IT or technical recruitment (agency or in-house). Candidates with relevant experience in other recruitment fields and a strong interest in technology are welcome to apply.
• Working knowledge of IT roles, technologies and market terminology, and the ability to assess technical profiles with hiring managers.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills in English and other languages relevant to our client base, as the role involves regular communication with candidates and clients across the region.
• Strong sourcing skills, including Boolean search and use of LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals and ATS tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions, prioritise and meet targets.
• Diploma or degree in any discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Good to Have

• Experience hiring for Singapore, Greater China or wider Asia-Pacific markets.
• Familiarity with the Fair Consideration Framework, MyCareersFuture and work pass requirements.
• Experience with recruitment analytics and ATS reporting.
