A leading IT services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager (Infrastructure) for a 24-month contract. You will manage ICT Infrastructure services to meet service level agreements and security standards. Responsibilities include incident management, technical solutions design, and budget management. The ideal candidate has a degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with relevant Cloud Service Provider certifications and at least 3 years of experience. This role offers a 5-day work week in a supportive environment.

Job description

Job Title: IT Operations Manager (Infrastructure)

Duration: 24-Month Contract

Job Function: IT (Information Technology)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday : 9.00am – 6.00pm

Responsibilities

1. Manage ICT Infrastructure services in meeting Service Level Agreement and IT Security Standards and Policies.
2. Manage ICT Infrastructure Incidents to ensure they are resolved within the Service Level Agreement and develop mitigation measures to avoid having re-occurrence of incidents.
3. Develop guidelines, processes and procedures to continuously improve incident management, escalation and system monitoring.
4. Manage ICT Infrastructure contracts and operating budget in meeting the agreed budget utilisation.
5. Provide ICT Infrastructure support and services in all stages of application deployment, testing and production.
6. Deliver ICT Infrastructure services in meeting business needs, within agreed budget, duration and quality.
7. Design and implement technical solutions, proof-of-concept, and pilots, ensuring the system complies with ICT Security Standards.
8. Work closely with solutions architects, application and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of technical solutions and meet requirements for high availability, resiliency, scalability and security.

Requirements

1. Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent
2. Certifications with Cloud Service Providers. (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect)
3. Relevant experience with using Cloud Service Providers, preferable with AWS experiences.
4. Infrastructure as Code. (e.g. Terraform, Cloud Formation)
5. Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
6. Familiar with Security/InfoSec practices.
7. Self-motivated with a positive mindset.
8. Good team player.
9. Resourceful and able to work out innovative solutions using new technologies.
10. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in performing the role.
