PERSOL in Singapore is seeking an IT Network Operation Engineer to support and monitor our network infrastructure on a 12-hour rotating shift, full-time on-site.

You will handle incident management, first-level support, health checks, SD-WAN change requests across platforms, and liaise with vendors. The role emphasizes security and compliance, with clear communication to IT teams and end users.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in IT infrastructure operations or technical support (LAN/WAN/Cloud).
• Experience or knowledge supporting SD-WAN environments and performing operational changes.
• Experience with enterprise wireless platforms is advantageous.
• Troubleshooting WLAN including APs, controllers, and cloud-managed WLAN.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, and wireless solutions.
• Provide first-level support and troubleshooting for incidents.
• Respond to and resolve IT incidents following procedures and escalation protocols.
• Document incidents and resolutions in the incident management system.
• Execute predefined SD-WAN service requests across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and Support: Proactively monitor and support network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, and wireless solutions.
• Provide first-level support and troubleshooting for detected issues.
• Incident Management: Respond to and resolve IT incidents in a timely manner, adhering to established procedures and escalation protocols.
• Accurately document incidents and resolutions within the incident management system.
• SD-WAN Change Request management: Execute predefined standard service requests and change requests across various SD-WAN platforms such as Cisco Viptela, Velocloud, RansNet, SilverPeak, and Fortinet.
• Operational Tasks: Perform daily health checks, log reviews, and system performance monitoring.
• Ensure all scheduled tasks are completed within agreed service levels.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and coordinate with specialist teams and vendors.
• Participate in maintenance activities and operational improvements.
• Communications: Maintain clear communication with internal IT teams, stakeholders, and end-users.
• Provide timely updates on incident status and operational activities.
• Compliance and Security: Follow company policies and regulatory standards to ensure secure and compliant IT operations.

Requirements

• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations or technical support (LAN/WAN/Cloud/)
• Experience or knowledge supporting SD-WAN environments (e.g., Cisco Viptela, VMware VeloCloud, RansNet, Silver Peak, and Fortinet), with the ability to perform operational changes, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate escalations when required
• Experience with enterprise wireless platforms such as Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, Meraki, or equivalent solutions is advantageous
• Supporting and troubleshooting enterprise wireless LAN (WLAN), including access points, wireless controllers, and cloud-managed wireless solutions
