Job summary

MICE Depot PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced IT Manager to lead on-site technology operations, streamline internal systems and maintain day-to-day IT functions.

You will own devices, networks, and office hardware, set standards, manage vendors, and drive lifecycle planning. This hands-on, proactive role reports to the Director of Operations and guides a small IT team through secure, reliable IT service delivery.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT operations or infrastructure management with demonstrated lifecycle ownership.
• Deep hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and office network setups (routers, switches, cabling).
• Strong ability to establish standard operating procedures, manage an IT asset inventory, and handle vendor contracts.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, and mobile devices across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.
• Apply basic security hygiene across managed devices, including patch management, antivirus enforcement, and screen-lock policies.
• Provide in-person helpdesk support and troubleshooting.
• Manage and maintain office networking equipment (routers, switches, APs) and physical structured network cabling.
• Manage general workplace tech, including AV equipment, printers, meeting room setups, and Wi‑Fi coverage.
• Maintain a live asset register to track hardware inventory, user assignments, and equipment condition.
• Establish standardised IT operating procedures (device setup, onboarding/offboarding, asset management).
• Manage vendor and ISP relationships, service-level performance, and contract renewals.
• Own IT budget forecasting and hardware lifecycle planning.
• Proactively propose and lead IT initiatives such as but not limited to infrastructure upgrades, network improvements, refresh cycles, and onsite event support.
• Manage and supervise junior IT personnel, interns, or external contractors as needed.
• Lead ISO/IEC 27001:2022 compliance reviews and prepare technical documentation as required.
• Perform other related duties as required to meet business needs.

IT Manager

We are looking for an experienced, hands‑on Information Technology Manager to lead our on-site technical operations, streamline internal systems, and maintain seamless day-to-day IT functions.

This is an end-to-end IT leadership role for a proactive, self‑directed professional. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will own day-to-day user devices (laptops, desktops, and phones), network systems, and office hardware support while setting operational standards, managing vendors, and overseeing our tech lifecycle.

What You’ll be Doing

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT operations or infrastructure management with demonstrated lifecycle ownership.
• Deep hands‑on experience troubleshooting Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and office network setups (routers, switches, cabling).
• Strong ability to establish standard operating procedures, manage an IT asset inventory, and handle vendor contracts.

Preferred / Good-to-Have

• Knowledge of basic endpoint security practices - patching cadence, MFA, antivirus enforcement).
• Experience with tools like Snipe-IT / Lansweeper.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ / Network+.
• Understanding of cloud-hosted systems (i.e. AWS).
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standards.
