Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst in Singapore with strong Insurance domain knowledge to draft requirements from business units and support project managers. The role involves understanding operations, conducting gap analyses, and driving optimized digital processes.

Responsibilities include creating user-friendly interfaces, detailing specifications for business sign-off, and ensuring compliance with internal policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis and/or consulting.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and process design skills.
• Experience in techno-functional assessments across insurance functions; life and group insurance preferred.
• Ability to bridge technology and business requirements.
• Familiar with change management and project management fundamentals.

We are hiring for an experienced IT Business Analyst, with experience in Insurance Products built across IT platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Support Project Managers and/or Solution Delivery Managers on projects assigned to draft requirements from business departments
• Understand operations/ business functions and objectives to propose appropriate and efficient solutions
• Run gap analysis and requirements validation workshops with key internal stakeholders to build up optimised digital processes
• Conceptualise and Design user friendly user interface/flows
• Prepare detail specifications and design documents for business confirmation
• Ensure detail specifications complies with internal policies, procedures, standards, and audit requirements
• Manage scope of work and project schedule together with project team to meet agreed timeline committed to business
• Collaborate and work closely with project, vendor, and internal IT teams

Requirements:

• Strong business domain knowledge in insurance or related financial industry e.g. (Banking, Fintech etc.)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis and/or consulting experience
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and process design skills that can translate analysis into solutions that meet business objectives
• Experienced in supporting techno-functional assessments across functions in insurance. Life and Group insurance experience is preferred
• Possess strong reasoning skills and able to bridge gaps between technology and business requirements
• Familiar with change management processes and project management fundamentals
