QUESS SELECTION & SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to help translate business requirements into IT solutions across insurance-related processes.

You will review specifications, develop test plans, coordinate UAT, document user guides, and support implementation across distribution channels. A degree in information systems and at least five years in a BA role are required.

Competenze

• Degree or Diploma in Information Systems, IT, or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience in BA role, preferably insurance.
• Analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Familiar with MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Effective documentation and communication.
• Experience in managing IT projects and administration is advantageous.
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles and how to create engaging interfaces.
• BA experience from banking/insurance or cross-platform integration preferred.

Salary: Up to SGD 7450

JOB DESCRIPTION

• 3.1 Provide support system enhancements which includes testing and resolving of issues, raising enhancement and liaising with user requirements and IT Department / Developer
• 3.2 Maintain a risk and compliance culture with zero tolerance for regulatory breaches and fraud, supporting and delivering Fair Dealing outcomes. Perform random check on system behaving correctly after ported to production.
• 3.3 Assist in the management of the various systems for different distribution channels which cuts across different business line. This includes the implementation of different initiatives by different channels.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• 4.1 Review Business Specifications, develop & execute Test Plan and User Documentation to ensure timely & quality delivery of IT solutions
• 4.2 Ensure that user requirements are effectively and accurately communicate to IT Department
• 4.3 Ensure solutions and systems provided meet business objectives
• 4.4 Responsible for Functional Testing of systems before release to UAT for User Testing
• 4.5 Plan and conduct feasibility studies and functional analysis of business requirements
• 4.6 Support User Acceptance Test Planning & automated and manual testing.
• 4.7 Organize and co-ordinate all implementation activities and user acceptance testing
• 4.8 Continually assess the effectiveness of business specifications and testing methodology in terms of contents and format
• 4.9 Develop & review User Guide and Standard Operating Process (SOP)
• 4.10 Handle any other project or duties as assigned by HOS / HOD

NATURE AND SCOPE

The department is responsible for providing system management for all the public facing customer application which include the purchase journey, payment flow and issuance of the policy.

PERFORMANCE TARGETS

• 6.1 Implementation of new initiatives and system enhancement within the agreed timeline
• 6.2 Timeliness in completion of user requirement review, test plan development & test execution
• 6.3 Accuracy on test plan development & test plan execution

COMPETENCIES

• 7.1 Degree or Diploma in Information Systems, IT, or relevant discipline
• 7.2 Minimum 5 years experience in BA role, preferably insurance domain
• 7.3 Analytical and problem solving abilities
• 7.4 Familiar with MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• 7.5 Effective documentation and communication
• 7.6 Experience in managing IT projects and administration is advantageous
• 7.8 Understanding of User interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design principles and how to create engaging and user-friendly interfaces.
• 7.9 Preferred with BA experience from banking/insurance or experience with with insurance domain, sales engagement, UI/UX design, cross platforms integration.
