About the job IT Application Support Engineer

The role requires the incumbent to manage day-to-day application support, troubleshoot production issues within SLA targets, and maintain system configurations.

The role requires the incumbent to collaborate with business stakeholders for enhancements, perform declarative development on the platform, and prepare comprehensive documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide first- and second-line support for production issues, ensuring resolution within agreed SLAs.
  • Maintain user roles, security profiles, page layouts, and custom objects/fields.
  • Execute bulk data migrations and regular data manipulations using DataLoader and advanced Excel techniques.
  • Liaise with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements for system enhancements and integrations.
  • Configure declarative workflows, validation rules, and custom objects to meet evolving business needs.
  • Manage sandbox environments and deploy changes according to standard operating procedures.
  • Design, build, and maintain business reports and dashboards (both scheduled and ad-hoc).
  • Prepare and maintain functional documentation, including requirements specs, process/data flows, training materials, and use cases.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in application support or a similar role
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating across all organizational levels
  • Salesforce Admin 201, Sales Cloud, and/or Developer certification preferred
  • Experience supporting both development and production environments
