Job summary

Sembcorp Industries Ltd is seeking a competent M&E Engineering support professional for its Specialised Construction division in Singapore. You will assist in design, planning and implementation of M&E systems for building and infrastructure projects, and support engineers in inspections, testing and commissioning.

You will work with AutoCAD and other tools to prepare drawings and review specifications, while contributing to safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in M&E systems such as HVAC, lighting, electrical power distribution, fire protection.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, planning and implementation of M&E systems for building and infrastructure projects.
• Support M&E engineers in site inspections, testing and commissioning of M&E installations.
• Work with AutoCAD and other software to prepare technical drawings and documentation.
• Assist in reviewing project specifications, blueprints and engineering reports.
• Conduct research and analysis on industry best practices and new technologies in M&E engineering.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate with contractors and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all M&E operations.
• Document project progress and prepare reports for management review.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Basic understanding of M&E systems, including HVAC, lighting, electrical power distribution, and fire protection systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other M&E design software is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
