Job summary

Sembcorp Specialised Construction in Singapore seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical building systems design for diverse projects, ensuring timely delivery and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Degree in Electrical Engineering, strong knowledge of ELV, Electrical OM, ETAP, and Dialux, and the ability to coordinate with clients, service providers, and internal teams. Singaporeans only, with opportunities to mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering accredited by the Professional Engineer Board, Singapore or its equivalent.
• Strong knowledge in ELV, Electrical OM, ETAP, and Dialux.
• Due to the sensitive nature of the project, only Singaporeans will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical building system design for projects and ensure alignment with scope and budget.
• Meet with clients and service providers to define scope and conduct field surveys.
• Handle project evaluation, budgets, documentation, and technical specifications; coordinate with teams.
• Complete design documents and technical specifications for electrical systems.
• Coordinate with other teams and coach junior staff on electrical design and delivery.
• Responsible for e-submissions to authorities for utilities services and related building regulatory submissions.

Purpose and Scope:

The Electrical Engineer plays a pivotal role in managing the Electrical aspects of the projects which is crucial to the successful delivery of building projects.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for projects management, planning and the design of electrical building systems
• Meeting clients & services providers on scope of service and conduct field surveys
• Handling project evaluation, budgets, documentation, technical specification and coordination
• Conduct analysis and selection of systems, evaluate project budgets
• Complete design documents & technical specifications
• Work Coordination with other teams as well as coaching and lead junior staff
• Responsible for making e-submission to authorities for utilities services and related building regulatory submissions

Requirements:
