Job summary

AIA invites driven students to join the Enterprise Analytics team for a data analytics internship in Singapore. You will gain hands-on exposure to data science, business intelligence, and AI applications in insurance while contributing to real projects.

You will collect and prepare datasets, support data scientists and BI developers, document deliverables, and participate in team workshops to learn and share ideas.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics).
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare datasets to ensure clean and reliable data for analysis and reporting.
• Assist and collaborate with data scientists and BI developers on analytical tasks (data preparation, modeling, Generative AI).
• Document and track analytics deliverables for transparency and continuity.
• Conduct research to support analytics initiatives and explore new methodologies.

About the Role

The intern will support the Enterprise Analytics team in delivering data-driven insights, dashboards, and analytical models that drive better decision-making. This internship offers hands-on exposure to data science, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence applications in the insurance industry.

• Collect and prepare datasets to ensure clean and reliable data for analysis and reporting.
• Assist and collaborate with data scientists and BI developers on analytical tasks to solve business problems. Tasks may include data preparation, machine learning modeling, or the use of Generative AI.
• Document and track analytics deliverables to ensure transparency and continuity.
• Conduct research to support analytical initiatives and explore new methodologies.
• Participate in team meetings, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas and learn from peers.

Job Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics).
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python preferred).
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.
