AIA Singapore is offering an analytics internship within the Enterprise Analytics team. The role focuses on delivering data-driven insights, dashboards, and analytical models to support decision making.

Interns will collect datasets, collaborate with data scientists, and document analytics deliverables, gaining hands-on exposure to data science and AI in the insurance sector.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics).
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python preferred).
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.

About The Role

The intern will support the Enterprise Analytics team in delivering data-driven insights, dashboards, and analytical models that drive better decision-making. This internship offers hands-on exposure to data science, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence applications in the insurance industry.

• Collect and prepare datasets to ensure clean and reliable data for analysis and reporting.
• Assist and collaborate with data scientists and BI developers on analytical tasks to solve business problems. Tasks may include data preparation, machine learning modeling, or the use of Generative AI.
• Document and track analytics deliverables to ensure transparency and continuity.
• Conduct research to support analytical initiatives and explore new methodologies.
• Participate in team meetings, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas and learn from peers.

Job Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics).
