INTERNATIONAL BEARINGS PTE. LTD. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative, Export, to support customers across Southeast Asia from our Singapore HQ.

The role focuses on remote engagement, handling inquiries, preparing quotations, and managing opportunities within assigned markets, reporting to the Sales Manager. You will drive pipeline, process orders, provide product information, and collaborate with logistics and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Experience in inside sales, sales support, or business development in industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound sales inquiries and identify new business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and sales opportunities.
• Drive sales activities to achieve targets through the fiscal year.
• Qualify leads and maintain an active sales pipeline with regular follow-ups.
• Process customer orders accurately and coordinate with internal teams for timely delivery.
• Provide product information, pricing, and technical support with relevant departments.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts to maximize sales potential.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities in the CRM.

Inside Sales Representative, Export

OBJECTIVES

The successful candidate will be part of a market-leading business in the bearings industry with an expanding presence across Southeast Asia. Reporting to the Sales Manager at the Singapore HQ, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales growth by supporting customers remotely, managing sales enquiries, and developing business opportunities within assigned markets.

In addition to managing key customer accounts, the role shifts from field sales and business development to inside sales to drive sales growth through remote customer engagement, lead and pipeline management, quotation and order processing, account management, cross-functional collaboration, and effective use of CRM/ERP systems towards achieving sales targets.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage inbound sales inquiries and proactively identify new business opportunities

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
• Previous experience in inside sales, sales support, customer service, or business development, preferably in the industrial, engineering, automotive, or manufacturing sectors
• Strong interest in sales, customer relationship management, and business development
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Customer-focused with a proactive and results-driven mindset
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable communicating with customers via phone, email, and online platforms
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is an advantage; and
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
