Job summary

Neutron Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an Infrastructure Lead to own day-to-day health, performance, and evolution of a customer’s network and systems under a long-term managed services contract.

You will be the senior technical authority on the account, leading engineers through incidents, problems, and changes, and serving as the trusted technical contact for the customer IT leadership. This is a customer-facing delivery leadership role combining hands-on depth with the confidence to run service

Qualifications

• 8–15 years in hands-on network, systems/infrastructure, or combined infra engineering in managed services.
• 2–3 years as a team lead or senior/ principal engineer with responsibility for others.
• Proven ownership of production infrastructure under SLA, with ITIL-aligned incident, problem, change management.
• Experience with end-user customers in a managed services model, including service reviews.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent demonstrable experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as escalation point and technical lead for major incidents; drive root-cause analysis through to permanent fix.
• Review, risk-assess, and approve change requests before they go to the customer's Change Advisory Board.
• Own contracted SLAs (availability, MTTR, MTTD, change success rate) and drive corrective action when targets are at risk.
• Keep capacity forecasts, patching/firmware currency, and hardware/software end-of-life tracking current across the estate.
• Maintain high-level design (HLD/LLD), SOPs, diagrams, and knowledge-base articles to audit-ready standards.
• Provide technical design authority for infrastructure changes, refresh cycles, and small-to-medium projects.
• Enforce configuration standards, security baselines, and documentation conventions.
• Identify modernization opportunities and turn them into customer-ready proposals (SD-WAN/SASE, ZTNA, automation).
• Lead, mentor, and performance-manage a team of L1–L3 engineers, including 24x7 rostering where required.
• Be the primary senior technical contact for the customer's IT stakeholders on operational matters.
• Lead operational service reviews and contribute technical content to Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Manage OEM, vendor, and carrier escalations through to resolution.
• Ensure changes stay compliant with security policy, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
