Job summary

NCS in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Network Engineer with team leadership to design, implement, and optimize our enterprise network infrastructure. You will guide a team of engineers and align network solutions with business goals to ensure reliability and performance.

The role requires strong routing, switching, security, cloud networking, and hands-on monitoring. Collaborate with IT, security, and applications teams, mentor staff, manage budgets, and document standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in network engineering and infrastructure management.
• 3+ years of demonstrated team leadership and people management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of network architecture, routing protocols, switching technologies, and TCP/IP networking.
• Proficiency with enterprise networking equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent.
• Strong expertise in network security, firewalls, VPNs, and access control implementations.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds).
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, hybrid infrastructure, and modern network design principles.
• Proven ability to analyze complex network problems and implement efficient solutions.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels.
• Experience with network documentation tools and configuration management systems.
• Preferred Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent advanced networking certification.
• Familiarity with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor relationships, evaluate network technologies, and oversee budget allocation for network projects.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, standards, and best practices.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to support career development.
