Job summary

Jurong Port is seeking an experienced Network Lead to oversee planning, design, and operation of our large-scale network and security infrastructure in Singapore. You will manage on-premises and cloud deployments, drive performance improvements, and lead complex projects across IT teams and vendors.

The role requires deep networking knowledge, strong vendor and project management skills, and hands-on experience with security hardware.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering.
• Certifications CCNP, CISSP, Checkpoint CCSA, PMP, cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/Google), ITIL.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with:
• Experience in Network Lead role in Network related areas.
• Deep technical knowledge in networking technologies and protocols.
• Know-how in designing, deploying and operating large-scale network and security infrastructure.
• Strong vendor and project management skillset.
• Knowledge in designing and managing cloud IaaS infrastructure (AWS).
• Hands-on experience with problem-solving skills in network administration and support.
• Experience in supporting various network hardware including Cisco, Huawei, Aruba.
• Experience in supporting security hardware including Checkpoint, Fortigate, Cisco.
• Strong knowledge in network design principles, tools and technologies including LAN, WAN, firewalls, IPS, VPN, NAC, CDN, DNS, VoIP, ACL, scripting and public cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead in planning, design, installation, configuration and support of on-premises and cloud network deployments.
• Manage, configure and optimize core and access network assets for performance and security.
• Drive improvements to enhance network performance and achieve cost savings.
• Manage lifecycle of network assets and plan for equipment refresh.
• Lead in troubleshooting, diagnosis, resolution and documentation of network issues.
• Oversee network capacity monitoring and resource planning.
• Maintain and improve operational documentation, SOPs and processes.
• Review and renew maintenance support contracts.
