Job summary

PERSOL Outsourcing, Singapore, seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Lead to drive delivery of complex infrastructure projects. You will oversee deployment, integration, testing, and handover, coordinating with PMs, customers, and vendors to ensure quality, scope, and schedule adherence.

You will design and implement Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, databases, networking, and security controls, while mentoring engineers and delivering documentation and training to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, IT Security, or a related discipline
• 7+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure, systems integration, deployment, or project implementation experience
• Proven experience leading technical delivery of enterprise IT projects involving infrastructure, networking, databases, and system integration
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, virtualization technologies and enterprise IT infrastructure
• Strong experience in SQL database administration, SSMS, database design, and query troubleshooting
• Good understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching,Firewalls, troubleshooting
• Experience with cybersecurity concepts, vulnerability assessments, hardening, and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with access control and security systems (CCTV, card readers, biometrics)
• Basic understanding of SDLC, system integration, APIs, and application deployment
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills
• Ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple project activities in fast-paced environments
• Certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, cybersecurity) are a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of IT infrastructure and system implementation projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements
• Act as the primary technical lead for deployment, integration, testing, commissioning, and handover activities
• Collaborate with PMs, customers, vendors, and stakeholders to define technical requirements, plans, and milestones
• Design, configure, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise IT infrastructure (Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, databases, networking)
• Perform system installation, configuration, debugging, root cause analysis, and issue resolution during deployments
• Manage SQL databases using SSMS, including setup, backups, restoration, performance tuning, and query optimization
• Design and support network infrastructure (Switches, VLANs, IPs, routing, connectivity)
• Lead reviews, integration activities, FAT/SAT, and user acceptance tests
• Support cybersecurity implementation via vulnerability assessments, hardening, and compliance checks
• Provide expertise for access control and security systems (CCTV, card access, key management, gantries)
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, procedures, test reports, and manuals
• Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure deliverables, quality, and timelines
• Mentor engineers and site teams; conduct customer presentations, workshops, and training
• Drive continuous improvement, best practices, and system reliability across projects
