Job summary

HELIUS TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled middleware and OS support engineer to ensure reliable installation, configuration, and maintenance of middleware components and operating systems in a high-availability environment.

You will coordinate patching, CR management, security hardening, and 24/7 support for UAT and production systems, addressing PenTest findings, upgrading systems nearing EOS/EOL, and collaborating with development and operations teams to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in middleware components and operating system , ensuring effective installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Perform OS and Middleware patching and CR management.
• Offer 24/7 support for UAT systems and production environments, ensuring minimal downtime and swift resolution of issues.
• Address Penetration Testing (PenTest) findings and implement vulnerability fixes in a timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to security protocols and patching requirements.
• Manage and deploy critical patches for middleware and infrastructure systems, ensuring thorough planning and coordination for deployment.
• Provide support for systems nearing EOS/EOL, including upgrades and necessary remediation.
• Provide technical assistance to both development and operational teams.
• Assist in troubleshooting, problem resolution, and ongoing system optimization.
• Provide support to middleware /OS upgrade projects Support audit and compliance activities, ensuring systems and processes meet internal and external requirements.
• Support a 24/7 operational environment under flexible work arrangements, responding to support inquiries, alerts, and system notifications promptly.

Shift Timings: 7AM-4PM / 2AM-10PM / 11PM -7AM
