Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is recruiting an experienced IT Project Manager for a reputable bank in Singapore.

You will coordinate project delivery, define scope, allocate resources, set deadlines, and manage communication with business users, infrastructure and risk teams. The role requires at least 10 years in banking with 5 in IT PM, experience on credit card projects, and proficiency with PM tools like Confluence and Jira.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in Banking/Financial Industry with minimum 5 years in IT Project Management.
• Experience managing credit card related projects.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools such as Confluence, Jira.
• PMP or similar certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, report status, and oversee project execution.
• Establish PM processes to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality.
• Plan project blueprints: scope, resources, deadlines, communication, testing.
• Lead project team daily; identify resource needs, perform quality reviews, escalate issues.
• Create and manage the project budget and ensure adherence to it.
• Oversee testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting across all stages.
• Track milestones and adjust plans/resources to meet internal needs.
• Coordinate communication with stakeholders on scope, budget, schedule and risk.

About the client: Our client is a Reputed Bank

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and project execution
• Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies to ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget, adheres to high quality standards and meets user expectations
• Plans out the blueprints for the project, including defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies, and defining testing strategy
• Assemble and leads the project team by directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately
• Creates the project budget and ensures the project adheres to the budget as closely as possible
• Oversees consistent testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of all products in all stages of completion
• Tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plan and/or resources to meet the needs of internal customers
• Coordinates communication with all stakeholders on project scope, budget, schedule and risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field
• At least 10 years in Banking / Financial Industry with minimum 5 years in IT Project Management.
• Must have experience in Managing Credit Card related projects.
• Must possess knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools such as Confluence, Jira etc.
• Experience in Project Release Management.
• Experience in working with many stakeholders from different teams (business users, infrastructure, risk management, etc.)
• Certification such as PMP or similar is highly desirable.
