Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Singapore to lead technology-enabled banking initiatives.

The role requires dual capability as a project manager and a functional business analyst, coordinating with Operations, Contact Centre and vendor teams to ensure delivery aligned with business goals. Responsibilities include planning, tracking, status reporting, weekly/status reviews, and timely project closures with artefacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/BA or related field.
• At least 5+ years of experience in banking, financial services or insurance industries.
• Strong project management experience in technology projects involving customer-assisted channels like Operations and Contact Centre.
• Dual role as project manager and functional business analyst.
• Experience managing projects involving Operations, Contact Centre and key banking platforms.
• Strong experience in process re-engineering for customer touchpoints.
• Retail product knowledge such as CASA and Loans (Secured/Unsecured).

Responsibilities

• Define the project plan and schedule with Technology Delivery team, Product vendors and users.
• Track tasks closely and report status to program manager and other stakeholders.
• Conduct Weekly Project Status Review and Fortnightly PWC meetings.
• Monitor the project tasks and help the team to remove impediments.
• Project closure with necessary artifacts.
• Responsible for the quality, scope, timeline, effort, resources (including Business, Contractor, Vendor Professional Services and Operations).
• Develop and execute the overall project plan and analyse project proposals which impact schedule and budget variance.
• Identify and schedule Programme & Project/Workstream deliverables, milestones and required activities; understand interdependencies between Technology, Operations and Business needs.

• Identify and schedule Programme & Project/Workstream deliverables, milestones and required activities and tasks. Understand interdependencies between Technology, Operations and Business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field
• At least 5+ years of experience in banking, financial services or Insurance industries
• Must have strong project management experience in technology projects involving key customer assisted channels like Operations, Contact Centre, etc
• Able to perform dual role as project manager and functional business analyst
• Experience in managing the projects involving Operations, Contact Centre, & other key banking platforms
