Job summary

Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedIT Project Managerto lead the delivery of technology initiatives within the banking environment. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery while ensuring adherence to the bank’sSystem Development Methodology (SDM)and governance framework. The Project Manager will coordinate across business, technology, and vendor teams to drive delivery, manage risks, and ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manageend-to-end project deliveryin compliance with the bank’sSystem Development Methodology (SDM)and governance standards.
• Plan, track, and manage project activities across multiple workstreams includingdevelopment, system integration, and testing phases.
• Collaborate closely withBusiness Analysts, Technology teams, QA teams, and vendorsto ensure successful project execution and timely delivery.
• Prepare and presentproject status reports, delivery updates, risks, and issuesfor governance forums such asProject Steering Committee (PSC), Project Working Committee (PWC), and Project Working Group (PWG)meetings.
• Proactively identify, track, and manageproject risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
• Maintain and updateproject delivery plans, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and governance documentation.
• Drivestakeholder engagement and communicationacross business units, technology teams, and senior management.
• Manage and enforcechange management and scope control processes, ensuring proper documentation, impact assessment, and approvals.
• Ensure project deliverables meetbanking regulatory, security, and compliance standards.
• Preparead-hoc reporting, dashboards, and presentationsfor senior management and project stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree inInformation Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Strong experience in IT project management , preferably withinbanking or financial services.
• Strong experience deliveringlarge-scale banking technology projects or system implementations.
• Good understanding ofSDLC / SDM frameworks and project governance models used in banks.
• Proven ability to managecross-functional teams, vendors, and multiple stakeholders.
• Experience managingrisk, issue, and change management processesin a structured project environment.
• Strongcommunication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency withproject management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, Prince2, or Agile / Scrum certification .
• Experience working oncore banking, digital banking, payments, or regulatory projects.
• Familiarity withsystem integration, UAT coordination, and banking technology environments.
