Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. supports an established industrial automation solutions provider in Singapore. They seek a Sales Engineer (Manufacturing Technology) to drive growth, build client relationships and tailor proposals for manufacturing clients.

The candidate will present solutions, negotiate terms and support customers from inquiry to project realization. This role requires technical engineering background and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in technical sales or engineering sales or a similar role.
• Experience in industrial automation is advantageous.
• Possess a valid Class 3 Driving Licence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within targeted industries to drive sales growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals and commercial offers tailored to customer requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and agreements to achieve sales objectives.
• Provide technical consultation and recommend suitable products and solutions based on customer needs.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, trials and proof-of-concept evaluations.
• Collaborate with customers to develop customized solutions meeting operational requirements.
