You will analyze failures, recommend high-performance materials, and drive value-based discussions with engineering teams. You will manage the full sales cycle, build long-term relationships with shipyards, energy and mining customers, and travel regionally to support meetings and site visits.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or marine engineering background with tribology exposure.
• 3–5+ years in B2B technical sales or application engineering.
• Proven ability to meet revenue and gross profit targets.
• Strong consultative selling and value-based communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as expert advisor to client engineering teams across industries.
• Build and maintain advisor-client relationships regionally.
• Specify SBS bearings and wear parts to maximise uptime and reduce costs.
• Own end-to-end sales process to meet targets and KPIs.
• Articulate ROI and cost-benefit analyses to decision-makers.
• Lead responses for RFPs and tenders with clear value simulations.
• Conduct on-site surveys and shipboard measurements when needed.
• Track market developments to unlock new SBS applications.
• Travel regionally for shipyards, mines, and client meetings.
