Job summary

NTN Bearing-Singapore (PTE) LTD is seeking a technical service professional to support customers across Asia. You will help select bearings, resolve quality issues, and coordinate with Sales and Manufacturing to provide timely solutions.

The role requires Japanese language ability (N1), strong communication, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Inventory, and HQ. You will train staff and customers on NTN products and participate in product development activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical customer service or engineering support.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and provide solutions.
• Proficiency with MS Office and SAP is preferred.
• Fluent English; Japanese language skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service and support to customers to increase sales and resolve problems.
• Ensure correct bearings are selected for customers’ applications based on necessary information collected.
• Handle customer quality claims and report results to Sales; address escalations.
• Issue investigations with the manufacturing plant and communicate findings to customers.
• Convert part numbers and recommend replacements for competitors’ parts.
• Support trade shows and promotions with marketing/sales teams.
• Provide engineering reports to customers.
• Inform stakeholders of spec changes or new product features and discontinuities.
• Manage customer requests for drawings and specifications.
• Conduct NTN product trainings for staff and customers.
• Understand Japanese customer requirements and communicate with HQ.
• Collaborate with Sales, Inventory, etc. to feedback on products/services.
