Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced airfreight import specialist to manage operations for advanced technology products, ensuring timely shipment processing and delivery.

You will coordinate arrival, documentation, customs clearance, transportation and billing, while maintaining accurate shipment records and proactively resolving delays to meet customer SLAs and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Manage airfreight import operations for advanced technology products, ensuring timely shipment processing and delivery.
• Coordinate shipment arrival, import documentation, customs clearance, transportation, billing and final shipment closure.
• Communicate with customers on shipment status, delivery schedules and special handling requirements.
• Work closely with airlines, ground handling agents, logistics partners, customs authorities and internal departments.
• Monitor operational performance against customer SLAs, KPIs and service requirements.
• Proactively resolve shipment delays, customs queries and documentation issues, particularly for urgent or high-value cargo.
• Maintain complete and accurate shipment records and operational reports.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance service quality, accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide guidance to junior colleagues and escalatem complex issues when necessary.
