Job summary

SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) is seeking an Equipment Senior Associate Engineer to join the Etch operations team.

The role focuses on running the Module production with 12-hour rotating shifts, ensuring equipment readiness and uptime, and supporting production targets. You will perform preventive maintenance, assist with new equipment installation, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Mechanical/Microelectronics.
• Applied materials Etch, DPS, Super e, MXP/MXP+ tool experience.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts including nights.

Responsibilities

• Perform 12-hour rotating shift duties to support the running of Production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on a timely basis with Quality.
• Assist Engineers in the installation and hook-up of new equipment
• Trouble-shoot equipment-related issues and minimize equipment downtime
• Assist in implementing process improvement projects
• Assist new Associate Engineers on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy
• Participate in 10k idea, LSS & BKM programs to improve productivity and output quality of the Module, and constantly monitor and feedback to Engineers to improve performance of equipment to meet Module objectives
• Maintain good 6S housekeeping in the production area, ensuring good safety practice and also safe custody of tools, equipment and other properties belonging to the Module
• To participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) program to response during emergency situation.

More about you:

• At least 2 - 5 years working experience in electrical/ electronics industry, eventual position offered will be determined upon interview evaluation
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift and night shift
