Job summary

SSMC in Singapore is seeking an Equipment Associate Engineer to join the Etch module. You will perform 12-hour rotating shifts, ensure equipment readiness for production, and support maintenance activities.

You will assist engineers with installation and debugging, participate in process improvements, help new associates on OJT as a buddy, and uphold 6S and safety practices while responding to emergency events.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Mechanical/Microelectronics.
• Experience with Applied Materials Etch, DPS, Super e, MXP/MXP+ tools.
• Minimum 2–5 years in electrical/electronics industry.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating and night shifts.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform 12-hour rotating shift duties to support production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on a timely basis with Quality.
• Assist Engineers in the installation and hook-up of new equipment.
• Trouble-shoot equipment-related issues and minimize equipment downtime.
• Assist in implementing process improvement projects.
• Assist new Associate Engineers on OJT by acting as their buddy.
• Participate in 10k idea, LSS & BKM programs to improve productivity and output quality of the Module.
• Maintain 6S housekeeping in the production area and ensure safety of tools and equipment.
• Participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) in emergencies.

We’re searching for an Equipment Associate Engineer to be part of our Etch diverse team of talent. You will be responsible perform 12-hour rotating shift duties to support the running of Production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production

What you will be working on:

• Perform 12-hour rotating shift duties to support the running of Production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on a timely basis with Quality.
• Assist Engineers in the installation and hook-up of new equipment
• Trouble-shoot equipment-related issues and minimize equipment downtime
• Assist in implementing process improvement projects
• Assist new Associate Engineers on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy
• Participate in 10k idea, LSS & BKM programs to improve productivity and output quality of the Module, and constantly monitor and feedback to Engineers to improve performance of equipment to meet Module objectives
• Maintain good 6S housekeeping in the production area, ensuring good safety practice and also safe custody of tools, equipment and other properties belonging to the Module
• To participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) program to response during emergency situation.

More about you:

• Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical /Microelectronics
• Applied material Etch, DPS, Super e, MXP/MXP+ tool experience
• At least 2 - 5 years working experience in electrical/ electronics industry, eventual position offered will be determined upon interview evaluation
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift and night shift
