Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking a senior professional to lead technical due diligence and site development for hyperscale AI data center projects across the Americas. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, assess risks, and prepare strategic recommendations to guide investment decisions.

The role requires deep expertise in civil engineering and infrastructure development, with a track record of delivering complex land developments and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical due diligence, site development, civil engineering or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigations, environmental assessments, utilities, zoning and land development processes.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering and environmental consultants on complex projects.
• Ability to translate engineering findings into commercial recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead due diligence across powered land, build-to-suit and strategic AI infrastructure opportunities.
• Manage consultants from scope definition to final recommendations.
• Assess risks related to constructability, utilities, fiber, environmental constraints and development feasibility.
• Prepare technical reports and present recommendations to leadership and investment teams.
• Collaborate with Site Selection, Engineering, Energy, Legal and Project Development teams.
• Develop due diligence standards and scalable technical review processes across the Americas.
