Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Data Centre Critical Facilities Engineer to support monitoring, triage, and coordination of operational incidents across critical data centre infrastructure in hyperscale environments.

You will monitor BMS, DCIM, and EPMS, respond to alarms, investigate alerts, and coordinate with onsite Critical Facilities Engineers, vendors, and service providers to resolve incidents while maintaining documentation and handover reports.

Qualifications

• Experience in critical facilities or data centre operations.
• Familiarity with incident management or ticketing systems.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, 24x7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor critical facilities infrastructure and alarms across power, cooling, and environmental systems.
• Respond to incidents, triage issues, and coordinate escalation paths.
• Act as first contact for incidents affecting live production environments.
• Coordinate with onsite engineers, vendors, and service providers to resolve incidents.
• Produce shift handover reports and maintain operation records.
