Job summary

DZH International Pte. Ltd. invites applications for an IT Associate Support Engineer to deliver frontline support for our trading systems used by brokerages, banks, and financial institutions across Asia.

You will work with developers to triage issues, fix bugs, and maintain operations, while documenting solutions and building self-help guides. Weekend support may be required; time off in lieu provided accordingly.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or equivalent.
• Fresh grads welcome! 2-3 years in application support/development in financial services is a plus.
• Programming know-how in Java, JSP, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and Unix shell scripting.
• Bonus if you know jQuery, Oracle RDBMS, JBoss, Resin, or IBM WebSphere.
• Strong problem-solving skills and great communication.
• Open to providing weekend after-hours support when required, with time off in lieu provided accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for clients, understand their issues and find effective solutions
• Triage, troubleshoot, and squash bugs with smart code changes
• Provide ongoing ops & maintenance support
• Log, track, and analyze client queries to spot trends
• Update documentation and self-help guides for clients and internal teams
• Weekend or after hours support may be required from time to time, with time off in lieu provided accordingly
