Job summary

Bank of Singapore is seeking an enthusiastic HR Analytics professional to support reporting, analytics, and automation as we transition to a new HR system. You will work with people data, contribute to continuous improvement, and gain hands-on experience applying analytics to HR processes.

Responsibilities span data engineering support, automation development, data quality assurance, and ad-hoc projects. A background in statistics, data science, or IT with Python and Power BI skills is desirable.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience in data analytics/engineering is preferred.
• Degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, IT, Data Science or equivalent is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Basic understanding of data protection regulations (PDPA, GDPR).
• Self-starter with leadership qualities and problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication for internal/external stakeholders.
• Proactive and motivated with a desire to learn and contribute.
• Basic knowledge in Python, Power BI, and/or Excel Power Query.
• Knowledge/interest in RPA, SQL, and generative AI is a plus.

• Review and standardise data structures and syntaxes used.
• Support data operations and dashboard building, ensuring data quality and governance.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.

Project Management (45%)

• Support data engineering initiatives. This includes but not limited to (1) Support data operations including data ingestion, extraction, report compilation, and dashboard building. (2) Ensure data quality and compliance with data governance policies. (3) Maintain and optimise codes and documentations.
• Support the development of agentic AI solutions to approved use cases.

Software/ Data Engineering (40%)

• Maintain and enhance existing automation routines and scripts.
• Build new automation routines, databases, or tools that will support data and reporting operations.
• Review and standardise data structure and syntaxes used.

Data Analytics (10%)

• Support data operations including data ingestion, extraction, report compilation, and dashboard building.
• Ensure data quality and compliance with data governance policies.

Others (5%)

• Support ad-hoc projects as required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience in data analytics/engineering. Fresh graduate may apply.
• A degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Mathematics or equivalent is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Basic understanding of the data protection regulation and guidelines, e.g. PDPA, GDPR.
• Self-starter mindset with strong leadership qualities and problem-solving aptitude.
