Job summary

STATS ChipPAC in Singapore is seeking an HR Generalist to support employee relations, recruitment and compensation initiatives across the organization. You will liaise with stakeholders, partner on overseas projects and handle grievances while planning group events and monitoring turnover.

The role requires a business degree with HR qualifications, a track record in HR within production/customer service, and bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates.

Qualifications

  • Business degree with a post graduate HR qualification.
  • Proven track record in employee relations within production and customer service settings.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Mandarin for liaising with Mandarin-speaking associates.
  • Energetic, driven HR professional capable of culture change and cross-team collaboration.
  • About 3 years of HR experience in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with stakeholders on HR matters.
  • Partner with Business Partner on overseas projects.
  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary issues.
  • Organize and plan employee group events.
  • Monitor and analyze turnover.
  • Administer feedback channels for employees.

  • Brief new employee orientation to foster policy understanding.
  • Work with managers to define position requirements.
  • Develop and implement candidate search strategies.
  • Assess effectiveness of search strategies and adjust plans.
  • Plan and organize local career fairs and public job fairs.
  • Tap into fresh graduates via tertiary events and relationships.
  • Develop a talent databank for proactive recruitment and selection.

  • Organize and plan Employee group events.

  • Administer feedback channels for employee.
Recruitment
  • Recruit, interviews, tests and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
  • Brief new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company policies and goal.
  • Work closely with managers to define specific position requirement.
  • Develop and implement candidate search strategies.
  • Assess effectiveness of search strategies and adjust plan as necessary.
  • Plan and organize in the local institute Career Fair and public Job Fair.
  • Keep abreast with Tertiary events & build close relationship thereby to tap on fresh graduates.
  • Develop a talent data bank to be proactive in recruitment & selection activities.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Assist and drive the development of appropriate compensation & benefits projects
  • Deploy annual programs such as salary benchmark, focal review, variable pay and performance appraisal across worldwide
  • Manage expatriate administration, including handling issues related to work passes, taxes, relocations, and other expatriate matters
  • Administer plant-wide day-to-day activities, including processes for new hires, confirmations, and resignations
Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • Business Degree preferably with post graduate Diploma in HR or its equivalent
  • A track record of successful employee relations in a challenging environment, ideally gained in a production and customer service environment is preferred
  • A business focused HR person with drive, energy, tenacity
  • Track record of achieving significant culture change
  • Intellectually robust who relishes working in multiple teams
  • Effectively bi-lingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates
  • 3 years experience preferably in HR Function
