TheSeafoodCompany Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to oversee end-to-end HR operations. You will design job descriptions, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and manage hiring pipelines to secure qualified talent.

You will guide onboarding, run training programs, administer payroll-related processes, and ensure compliance with local labour laws. Strong communication and leadership are essential to support staff and management.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of HR experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act, MOM, CPF, IRAS, and other statutory requirements.
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Design job descriptions, screen applications, conduct interviews, and manage hiring pipelines to find qualified talent.
  • Onboarding, Training and grant application: Guide new hires through orientation and run training programs to build employee skills; manage HR-related training and government grants.
  • Employee Relations: Mediate workplace conflicts, handle grievances, and support positive communication between staff and leadership.
  • Performance Management: Set performance goals, coordinate appraisals, and guide managers on feedback or disciplinary actions.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Administer payroll processing, health insurance, retirement plans, and rewards; ensure submissions for government claims and subsidies.
  • Compliance and Policy: Create company handbooks, enforce rules, and ensure adherence to local labor laws.
  • Work Pass matters and process: Manage work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and medical arrangements.
  • Improvement and Upgrade: Suggest improvements to HR policies and framework to address challenges.

HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER
Job Description
Core Roles and Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Design job descriptions, screen applications, conduct interviews, and manage hiring pipelines to find qualified talent.
  • Onboarding, Training and grant application: Guide new hires through orientation and run training programs to build employee skills. Management and administration of HR-related training and employment government grants

  • Compensation and Benefits: Administerpayroll processing via Whyze payroll software, health insurance, retirementplans, and reward structures. Ensure timely & accurate submissions in allgovernment and related claims and subsidies e.g., CPF, Childcare Leave,Maternity/Paternity Leave, NS makeup claims, income tax (IR8A & IR21)matters etc.
  • Compliance and Policy: Create company handbooks, enforce internal rules, and ensure adherence to local labor laws
  • Work Pass matters and process: Responsible for work pass administration such as work pass applications, renewal, cancellation, and medical arrangements.
  • Improvement and Upgrade: Suggestimprovements on existing HR policies and framework to support and resolveexisting challenges.
Knowledge & Skills Requirement
  • Minimum Diploma in Human Resources, Business, orrelated fields
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in HRfunction
  • Possess strong knowledge of the SingaporeEmployment Act, MOM, CPF, IRAS, and other relevant statutory legislation andregulatory requirements.
  • Possess a positive attitude to learn and growwith the company.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonalskills.
