Job summary

KIM SENG HENG ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION (PTE) LTD in Singapore is seeking an HR professional to manage payroll for a sizeable workforce and maintain accurate HR records. The role involves handling statutory submissions and onboarding activities to ensure smooth HR operations.

You will support the HR Manager in employee lifecycle processes, promotions, and exits while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards in a construction environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in HRM, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of HR experience in construction or similar.
• IHRP Certification preferred (Professional)
• Experience handling payroll for 100+ employees is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time using the payroll system.
• Maintain payroll records and employee database.
• Prepare and submit statutory submissions (CPF, SDL, IR8A, AIS, NS Make-Up Pay, etc).
• Liaise with government agencies on payroll and employment matters.
• Prepare employment contracts, appointment letters and onboarding documents.
• Conduct orientation for new employees and manage onboarding.

Job description

Job Requirements:

• Process monthly payroll accurately and timely using the Info-Tech Payroll System.
• Maintain payroll records and employee database.
• Prepare and submit CPF, SDL, IR8A, AIS, NS Make-Up Pay and other statutory submissions.
• Liaise with government agencies regarding payroll and employment matters
• Prepare employment contracts, appointment letters and onboarding documents
• Conduct orientation for new employees
• Manage employee confirmations, transfers, promotions and resignations
• Maintain employee personal files and HR records.
• Handle work pass applications, renewals and cancellations (WP, S Pass, EP)
• Monitor probation reviews and performance appraisal processes.
• Support employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
• Support HR audits and preparation of HR reports.
• Perform other HR administrative duties assigned by HR Manager

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience in Construction.
• Preferable with IHRP Certified Professional
• Experience handling payroll for at least 100 employees will be an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
