Job summary

Blue Energy Ship Management Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated HSSEQ Executive to support the implementation and upkeep of Safety, Health, Security, Environment, and Quality systems across our fleet.

You will assist with audits, inspections, and incident investigations, contributing to a strong safety culture and continuous improvement within a growing ship management company based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 2-4 years experience in HSSEQ, marine operations, or related role.
• ISO 9001/14001/45001 Internal Auditor certification is an advantage.
• Good understanding of ISM Code, ISPS Code, MLC, and international regulations.
• Knowledge of MARPOL, IMO GHG Strategy, EEXI, and CII.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementation and maintenance of Safety Management System (SMS) in compliance with ISM Code.
• Coordinate and conduct internal audits, vessel inspections, and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformities.
• Monitor and analyze safety performance data and trends.
• Support environmental compliance programs (MARPOL, IMO GHG Strategy, EEXI, CII).
• Assist with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications.
• Monitor Flag State, Port State, and Class requirements.
• Support Ship Security Plan (SSP) and ISPS Code requirements.
• Develop and deliver HSSEQ training programs.
• Promote a positive safety culture.

About the Role

Blue Energy Ship Management is seeking a dedicated HSSEQ Executive to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of our Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality management systems across our fleet.
