Job summary

PwC Singapore invites you to join our Human Capital Services & Solutions team as an Intern/Trainee, supporting end-to-end HR operations across onboarding, payroll, leave, records, and HR systems governance.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in employee lifecycle processes, data integrity, and service delivery, while collaborating with stakeholders and leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Students pursuing studies in Business Administration, Human Resources or related disciplines are preferred.
• Strong interest in human resources, HR operations or shared services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Familiarity with Workday will be an advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with stakeholders across different levels.
• Meticulous, well-organised and attentive to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
• Strong coordination and follow‑up skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• A positive team player who is eager to learn and contribute to a collaborative environment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment where both quality and speed are important.
• Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding activities to help ensure a smooth and positive experience for employees.
• Maintain employee records in HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and reconcile leave records for reporting and payroll purposes.
• Attend to staff enquiries relating to HR policies and processes in a professional manner.
• Provide operational and administrative support in staff welfare administration, billing and payment matters.
• Track and follow up on tasks and transactions to ensure timely completion and high service standards.
• Participate in HR-related initiatives and projects that support process improvement and employee experience.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support effective HR service delivery.
• Leverage AI tools to improve process efficiency and contribute to AI initiatives.
