Job summary

Direct Search Global is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage the full spectrum of HR functions in a multi-subsidiary setup in Singapore.

The role covers policy development, employee relations, recruitment, payroll, and benefits. You will drive standardization of HR processes, ensure compliance with local regulations, and support audits and reporting across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Draft and update HR Policies, SOPs, Employee Handbook and other HR related documents
• Execute and implement Corporate HR Policy and Procedures and ensure standardization and alignment amongst all subsidiaries
• Identify gaps in existing HR processes and propose changes to establish good HR practices
• Ensure compliance of all HR policies across the organization
• Collaborate with management to improve work relationships, build morale and culture
• Provide support on all aspects of employee relations including absence management, development, grievances and disciplinary actions
• Handle industrial relation issues, if any
• Support and standardize recruitment and training activities across subsidiaries
• Manage full life cycle recruitment including job postings, sourcing, shortlisting, interviewing, and writing job descriptions
• Handle new applications and renewals of work permits/visas for expatriates
• Perform Job Profiling and determine training needs to align with business strategy
• Prepare payroll and statutory reports for Corporate Office; liaise with insurers
• Review insurance policies to ensure adequate coverage; maintain competitive C&B structure
• Prepare HR correspondence and ensure compliance with legal requirements
• Liaise with government agencies and authorities on HR laws
• Assist with performance/talent management initiatives and reporting
• Support audits and reporting requirements
• Undertake other duties as assigned by supervisor
