Job summary

Direct Search Global is seeking an experienced HR Manager in Singapore to lead day-to-day HR operations, oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations, and ensure compliant people practices across the organisation. You will partner with leadership on workforce planning, develop HR policies, manage payroll and records, and drive initiatives in learning and development, engagement, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
• 4–5 years of HR experience, including managing or supervising HR functions.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Experience managing full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with confidentiality and discretion.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Proactive, approachable, commercially minded, able to work with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment activities from manpower planning to onboarding.
• Partner with management on workforce planning, organisational development and talent management.
• Handle employee relations, policies, performance issues, grievances and disciplinary matters.
• Oversee payroll, leave administration, benefits, insurance and records with external providers.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Employment Act and CPF requirements.
• Coordinate employee engagement, training, learning and development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data with confidentiality.
• Monitor HR metrics: headcount, turnover, recruitment performance, absenteeism and engagement.
• Support annual budgeting and workforce cost planning.
• Advise management on HR matters and assist audits and statutory requirements.
