Job summary

United Overseas Bank Ltd seeks an experienced HR Operations professional to serve as a key SME within Employee Services in Singapore. You will manage complex operational issues, partner with HR teams and vendors, and ensure accurate employee data and compliant processes across onboarding, work passes and lifecycle activities.

You will drive process improvements, automation, and risk controls while supporting leadership with planning and coaching in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with 6–8 years in HR Operations or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes and controls.
• Familiarity with MAS Guidelines on Fit and Proper Criteria and RNF is a plus.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and automation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for complex HR operations issues.
• Partner with HR teams, stakeholders and vendors to deliver lifecycle services.
• Ensure data integrity in HR systems and accurate reporting.
• Support onboarding, work passes, background screening and lifecycle activities.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve processes.
• Monitor risks and ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Assist Team Lead with workload planning and transformation initiatives.
• Provide coaching to team members to promote excellence.
