Private Advertiser is seeking an HR Officer to support day-to-day HR operations, onboarding, and lifecycle activities. The successful candidate will work closely with employees and stakeholders to ensure HR processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
Key duties include coordinating pre-onboarding and Day 1 onboarding, handling Work Permit/Employment Pass administration, maintaining HR records and HRIS updates, and supporting lifecycle matters and process improvements.
We are looking for an HR Officer to support day-to-day HR operations, employee onboarding and employee lifecycle activities. The successful candidate will work closely with employees and internal stakeholders to ensure HR processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
Coordinate and manage pre-onboarding and Day 1 onboarding activities for new hires.
Conduct onboarding briefings and provide guidance on HR processes, policies and available support.
Handle Work Permit / Employment Pass applications, renewals, transfers and cancellations.
Maintain accurate employee records, documentation and HR system updates.
Support employee lifecycle matters, including transfers, contract extensions, employment changes and offboarding.
Monitor outstanding HR cases and follow up with relevant stakeholders for timely completion.
Attend to employees' HR-related enquiries and provide guidance on HR processes and system transactions.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on HR operational matters.
Ensure HR data and documentation are accurate and compliant with established processes.
Support HR process improvements, system enhancements and other HR projects.
Perform other HR operational and ad hoc duties as assigned.
Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
Preferably 2 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Administration or Shared Services.
Entry-level candidates with relevant HR internship experience are welcome to apply.
Experience in onboarding and employee lifecycle management.
Hands-on experience in Work Permit / Employment Pass administration will be an advantage.
Familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
Proactive, organised and service-oriented.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
