HR Officer, People Experience (1 Year Contract)
Salary:$2,800 per month
Working Location:PLQ, with occasional deployment to other locations to support onboarding activities.
Working Hours:8.15am–5.45pm, Monday to Friday. Selected days may require an earlier start, around7.30am–8.00am, to support onboarding activities. Working hours will be adjusted accordingly.
Job Description
We are looking for anHR Officer, People Experienceto support day-to-day HR operations, pre-onboarding and employee lifecycle activities. The role will work closely with employees and various stakeholders to ensure smooth HR operations and a positive employee experience throughout the employment journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage pre-onboarding and Day 1 onboarding activities, ensuring all required arrangements and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
- Conduct onboarding briefings for new employees, providing guidance on HR processes, company policies and available employee support channels.
- Handle Work Permit and Employment Pass-related matters, including applications, renewals, transfers and cancellations, in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation, ensuring information is accurate, complete and properly maintained.
- Manage employee lifecycle activities, including transfers, contract extensions, changes in employment details and offboarding.
- Monitor outstanding HR cases and follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely completion and resolution.
- Liaise with employees, internal departments and external parties on HR operational matters and employee-related enquiries.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR processes, HR systems and general HR enquiries.
- Review and maintain HR data accuracy and ensure processes are carried out in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Support HR process improvements, system enhancements and other HR-related projects.
- Perform other HR operational and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma inHuman Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates with relevantHuman Resources internship experienceare also welcome to apply.
- Experience in employee onboarding, employee lifecycle management and HR system transactions.
- Hands-on experience inWork Permit / Employment Pass administration and related compliance matterswill be an advantage.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good attention to detail and ability to handle confidential employee information responsibly.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with employees and different stakeholders.
- Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, service-oriented and customer-focused approach.
- Comfortable supporting onboarding activities at different work locations when required.
