Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. is seeking an HR Generalist for a 6‑month contract / permanent role in Singapore.

You will support day‑to‑day HR operations, assist recruitment and onboarding, manage work passes, attendance, payroll data, and engagement activities while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with local laws. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in HR, a diploma or degree in HRM, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR Generalist experience
• Knowledge of Singapore employment laws
• Confidential handling of HR documents

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support of HR operations
• Assist recruitment, onboarding and off-boarding including new hire orientation
• Manage Company door access card system
• Monitor and renew contract staff where applicable
• Maintain employee profiles in HR system with confidentiality
• Handle work pass administration including applications, renewals and cancellations
• Support employee engagement activities and wellness initiatives
• Assist with statutory reporting and surveys (MOM, MAS)
• Review policies for improvements and compliance
• Assist monthly payroll data to Finance for processing
• Manage attendance, leave, and referral programs
• Advise line managers on HR policies and legislation
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support of HR operations
• Assist in the recruitment process and manage on-boarding and off-boarding activities including, but not limited to, conducting a new hire orientation program
• Manage the Company door assess card system
• Monitor and follow up on contract staff renewals
• Maintain and update employees profile in the HR system, ensure confidentiality of all HR documents
• Handle work pass administration including work pass application, renewal and cancellation
• Involve in employee engagement activities including wellness, training functions, staff recognition program, etc for the employees
• Assist with statutory reporting and surveys (e.g. MOM, MAS, etc.)
• Review policies, regulations and procedures for improvements and statutory compliance
• Assist in monthly payroll preparation by providing updated payment information to Finance Department for payroll processing
• Manage employee attendance, leave administration and employee referral program
• Provide advise and guidance to the line manager on good human resource practices, employment policies and legislation
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned by the Operations Manager

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience as a HR Generalist or a similar role
• Good working knowledge of Singapore's employment legislation and HR best practice
• Meticulous, well organised and able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
