Job summary

SHAN JIAN XIN CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. seeks an HR Administrator to handle recruitment, payroll administration, and employee relations in a construction-focused environment.

You will manage onboarding/offboarding, work pass administration, and organize training programs for staff and workers, ensuring compliance with local laws. Experience in managing worker matters and liaising with MOM/CPF is preferred, and you'll play a key part in performance reviews and team-building activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• At least 1 year of HR experience; construction industry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of local employment laws and practices.
• Strong understanding of recruitment processes for construction staff and workers.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR functions including recruitment, compensation and benefits, payroll, performance reviews, training, and employee relations.
• Support recruitment activities: job postings, screening, and interview arrangements.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Handle work passes: applications, renewals, and cancellations.
• Coordinate training and development programs for staff and workers.
• Support payroll processing and organize performance reviews.
• Assist in team-building arrangements and MOM/IRAS/CPF/ training surveys.
• Perform ad-hoc HR duties as assigned.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Administration and execution of HR functions including Recruitment & Selection, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll Administration, Performance Review, Training & Development, Employee Relations and Orientation Program
• Support recruitment activities, including posting job advertisements, candidates screening, and interview arrangement
• Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes
• Manage applications, renewals, and cancellations of work passes
• Handle general matters, including updating residential addresses, levy waivers, medical check-ups for workers
• Organize and oversee training and development programs for staff and workers
• Support payroll processing
• Organize performance review for all employees
• Support in team building arrangement
• Conduct market surveys for MOM, IRAS, CPF, WDA, and other HR-related studies
• All other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Min 1 year of related experience. Experience in Construction Industry is a plus.
• Strong knowledge in local employment laws and practices
• Strong understanding of recruitment processes for both construction staff and workers.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
