Job summary

The Clan Hotel in Singapore seeks a(Room Division Manager) to lead the Front Office and Housekeeping divisions, steering efficient and profitable hotel operations. You will shape long- and short-term strategies with the HM/GM, manage budgets, and drive improvements in guest experiences across services and facilities.

You will demonstrate strong leadership, analytics, and communication skills while ensuring SOP compliance and grooming future department heads.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in hospitality, tourism or related field is required.
• 6-8 years of hotel operations experience with leadership in Front Office and Housekeeping.
• Strong analytical and operational management skills focused on guest experience and efficiency.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities; problem-solving skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Opera PMS and familiarity with hotel management systems and reporting tools.
• Hospitality certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure efficient and profitable hotel operation.
• Develop and implement long-term and short-term strategies with GM/HM, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Advise on process improvements and new strategies to meet guest expectations.
• Monitor guest trends and adjust services, facilities and accommodations accordingly.
• Ensure SOP compliance and collaborate with Outsource Security for surveillance and incident reporting.
• Coordinate with Human Resources on manpower, recruitment and promotions.
• Represent the Hotel Manager in their absence and drive development of future department heads.
