Job summary

Mondrian Singapore Duxton is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee daily hotel operations on-site. You will manage the front desk, supervise a team, handle guest inquiries and resolve issues to ensure outstanding service.

Your day involves logging incidents, coordinating with Security, Housekeeping and Engineering, capitalizing on upselling opportunities, and ensuring accurate registrations and smooth check-ins/outs while protecting guest privacy.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of Duty Management shifts and supervise the front desk.
• Record incidents in the Duty Log and follow up with leadership.
• Report accidents or theft and liaise with Security & Safety.
• Know arrivals/departures and manage fully booked scenarios.
• Be familiar with room types, rates, and availability at all times.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering on rooms.
• Ensure accurate input in reservation systems and registration cards.
• Look for upselling opportunities and manage front desk initiatives.
• Ensure supplies for Front Desk and process Purchase Orders.
