Job summary

mci career services pte. ltd. is seeking a seasoned project coordinator to lead hospital development initiatives in Singapore West.

You will coordinate requirement gathering from users, consultants, contractors and authorities to meet project timelines. The role involves reviewing designs for regulatory compliance, liaising with authorities on licensing and commissioning, and ensuring safety, business continuity and operability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or closely related field.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with Fire Safety certification (SCDF registered).
• MOM-registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project coordination and ensure timely gathering of requirements from users, consultants, contractors, government agencies and relevant authorities to meet project timelines.
• Facilitate hospital planning discussions and coordinate user requirements through design, construction and post-construction phases, including facilities maintenance and upgrading.
• Oversee the documentation, resolution and approval of user requirements, ensuring accurate records and timely sign-off of project milestones.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors and stakeholders to address site issues and ensure smooth project execution.
• Review architectural, engineering and infrastructure designs to ensure regulatory compliance, safety standards and hospital operational needs.
• Represent the hospital in design reviews and project meetings, ensuring proposed solutions are practical, maintainable and fit for purpose.
• Identify and mitigate design, infrastructure and operational risks, incorporating fire safety, emergency preparedness and business continuity requirements.
• Liaise with relevant authorities on regulatory compliance, licensing, commissioning and operational readiness.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure compliance with institutional policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to support effective project delivery and hospital development objectives.
• Keep abreast of healthcare planning developments and provide secretariat support, along with other duties as assigned.
