Job summary

Ssangyong Engineering & Construction Co Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major hospital construction project in Singapore. You will oversee planning, delivery, multidisciplinary coordination, and cost control to meet contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include leading project execution, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in construction project management, ideally with a main contractor.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale hospital or complex institutional projects.
• Experience with hospital, healthcare, or commercial building projects.
• Strong knowledge of planning, cost control, risk management and scheduling.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and consultants.
• Good understanding of Singapore construction practices and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall construction delivery from planning to completion.
• Develop and monitor execution plans, programmes, milestones, and schedules.
• Coordinate architectural, civil, M&E, and specialist contractors.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, clients and authorities.
• Monitor progress against programme, budget, quality, and contract obligations.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Oversee design development, drawings, submissions, and shop drawings.
• Lead coordination meetings and follow-up on actions.
