Job summary

The role includes performing on-site installations, backing up data, upgrading systems when needed, and documenting procedures to ensure consistent, reliable service for customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with hardware or software systems
• Consulting with users over the phone, in person or via online chat to understand and troubleshoot technical issues
• Identifying when system reconfiguration is needed and implementing it
• Assessing user needs and recommending technical solutions such as patches, upgrades or enhancements
• Documenting technical support procedures and maintaining customer records
• Responding promptly to queries and providing information on the proper installation, maintenance and use of technical systems
• Performing complete on-site installations, including backing up client data, upgrading systems when needed, and installing new software or hardware.
