Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Fund Accountant (Hedge Fund Services) for a 6 months contract in Singapore. The role focuses on hedge fund NAV reviews, accounting tasks, and end-to-end fund lifecycle support.

You will work with funds of hedge funds across NAV reviews, client servicing and operational processes. The position involves coordinating audits, regulatory filings, and process improvements, with scope to contribute to system upgrades and enhancements within a global bank-backed

Qualifications

• Experience in hedge fund accounting or fund administration with NAV preparation and review.
• Understanding of fund accounting principles, reconciliations, share classes and operational controls.
• Experience coordinating client reporting, fund audits and stakeholder queries.

Responsibilities

• Review hedge fund NAVs, trial balances and expenses; analyse P&L movements, side pockets and share class hedging.
• Resolve trade, position, cash and pricing discrepancies with prime brokers, investment managers and internal teams.
• Support team supervision, training and workload allocation; ensure timely delivery and consistent service standards.
• Oversee payment controls, maintain operating procedures and address findings from audit, risk and compliance reviews.
• Manage client queries, coordinate fund audits and applicable regulatory filings; prepare reports for fund meetings.
• Support fund launches, restructurings and closures; contribute to system upgrades and process improvements.
