Job summary

State Street in Singapore is seeking a Hedge Fund Accounting Senior Associate to support end-to-end fund administration, assist the Officer/AVP, and be the main contact for internal teams, clients and auditors. You will work on NAV operations, cash and position reconciliations, pricing validation, accruals, and partner allocations, while staying current with accounting standards and driving staff coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent. Professional accounting or finance qualification and/or Master's degree a plus.
• 4+ years working experience in accounting / financial services related environment.
• Strong client relationship experience preferred.
• Progress toward or possession of a professional qualification such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating workflow and completing detailed preparation/review of Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly NAV pack.
• Review cash and position reconciliations, validate portfolio pricing.
• Income and expense accrual.
• Partner/shareholder allocation calculations.
• Analysis of fund returns and performance in line with market trends.
• Keeping abreast of new accounting standards and ensuring compliance.
• Implementing training initiatives and mentoring staff.
• Evaluate staffing needs and drive efficiencies.
• Assist client migration and onboarding; participate in special projects.
