Job summary

Ju Eng Home for Senior Citizens seeks an Executive, Volunteer Management & Community Engagement to develop and support our volunteer programme and community activities for residents.

The role oversees the full volunteer lifecycle, builds partnerships with schools, corporations and community groups, and collaborates with Nursing, Allied Health, Social Work and Operations to ensure meaningful resident experiences.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Communications, Business, Events Management or related discipline.
• Preferably 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in volunteer management, community engagement, CSR, social services or eldercare would be advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Able to coordinate multiple programmes and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate JEH's volunteer programme and community engagement activities.
• Manage the volunteer lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through deployment, engagement, recognition and retention.
• Build strong relationships with individual and group volunteers and with community partners.
• Coordinate volunteer opportunities with Nursing, Operations and other departments to ensure meaningful experiences for residents.
• Monitor volunteer activities, collect feedback and report metrics to improve programmes.
• Support corporate volunteering and CSR initiatives and publicise partnerships.
